As a kinship parent, I understand the responsibility of showing up for children while managing a household and making room for yourself. Through my nonprofit, Hairston Healing Home Initiative, I also highlight community support, donation drives, giveaways, and opportunities to help families access essentials. This part of my work is rooted in protecting children, empowering families, and reminding caregivers that they deserve support, too.
